Care Assistant

 The Role:

Routes Healthcare have a fantastic, exciting new opportunity for you to work alongside the new Routes Community Care Team in Kirklees.

Being an experienced care assistant you will be responsible for supporting clients in their own homes across the region.

As an experienced Healthcare Proffesional you will be supporting the patient with all home/personal care needs. You will be working alongside other Routes experienced care assistants and Healthcare professionals to enable our clients to live independently in their own homes.

Hours and Pay:

Fixed Term Contract, 25 hours per week minimum, mileage paid for at 45 pence per mile.

Locations:  Kirklees Region, you will be working across the region with various clients.

Shift Patterns: Monday to Sunday, We require fully flexible staff who can work weekdays, weekends and twilight (6am to 10pm) must be available 4 out of 7 days and can pick up extra shifts. Shift patterns Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Salary: £13.45 - £15.69 per hour, depending on working time and day.

Requirements:

Due to the nature of the role, as you will be supporting patients in their own homes, all care assistants must have a valid full UK driving licence and access to your own car.

Experience in enteral and catheter care would be advantageous.
