HR Administrator Apprentice in Macclesfield
The HR Administrator/Apprentice will support the HR team in providing an efficient and streamlined service to the business in regard, to all HR-related administrative tasks. This role has a wide remit which includes input to all HR admin and is an important support role to the business. Effective administrative support is vital to the smooth running of the department.
You will provide administrative support (including, but not limited to; processing paperwork, filing, dealing with mail, creating reports, gathering information, ordering IT equipment, making bookings, arranging meetings etc for all elements of our people processes.

Reports to: HR Manager
Salary: £10,000 per annum starting salary after a 6 months successful probation period it will increase to £11,000 per annum.
You will maintain internal and external standards upholding CQC regulations, contractual requirements, company best practice and Equal Opportunities.
•Be the first point of contact on the telephone, answering calls, transferring to the relevant individuals, and taking accurate messages.
•Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
•Check employment history and references and employment history of applicants, in accordance with the legal requirements.
•Monitor, maintain, and update the database, recording accurate data as required including absence.
•Work along side the HR Assistant in supporting holiday queries, in SMART sheets.
•Support the HR Assistant and HR Manager in the delivery of projects across the Organisation.
•Obtaining employee references as part of the onboarding process along with completing reference requests.
•Forming and maintaining employee records
•Perform other related administrative and reasonable duties as instructed.
•Attend regular training to maintain up to date knowledge of good practice.
•Updating SAMRT sheets internally, such as sick and maternity leave.
•To always comply with the Company’s procedures regarding Conduct and Confidentiality.
•To be responsible, while at work, for ensuring that reasonable care is taken for one’s own health and safety and for the health and safety of others.
•To be responsible and take ownership for one’s continuous personal development, undertaking relevant training as and when appropriate, including appropriate Health and Safety Training.
•To be responsible for any other task identified by the Line Manager as falling reasonably within the scope and range of the position.
Qualifications and Professional Registration/Memberships
English & Maths GCSE English and Maths at grade A-C or equivalent
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work alone without constant direction
Excellent eye for detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
Ability to prioritise workload and consistently meet deadlines
Ability to use Microsoft Office suite
Possession of a confident but helpful manner
The ability to always maintain confidentiality and in all circumstances
Willingness and ability to learn.
Adapt to change.
Preferred experience in an administrative position.
