Routes measures      success against the benchmark ‘excellence in all we do’.  Routes Healthcare is currently looking to recruit experienced Paediatric Nurse to work within the community delivering paediatric complex care. As the paediatric lead nurse, you will be responsible for delivering patient focused care and offering quality nursing care that is tailored to the individual child’s needs. You will be responsible for ensuring that all professional standards are excelled, and relevant care plans are delivered. You will be responsible for identifying any gaps in clinical competency are addressed by assessing client needs and delivering appropriate competency training to effectively manage care package. You will be responsible for compliance with all business policies and procedures.  This is a great opportunity to use your nursing and clinical decision making skills in a different environment and maintain work life balance (no more weekends, public holidays or evenings).

 

Role Profile:

  • A high level of interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work flexibly across the branch network as required.

  • Ability to work autonomously with a range of partners.

  • Competent in assessing and delivering training against care competencies.

  • Experience in managing complex children’s care needs and delivering appropriate    care plans for complex medical conditions.

  • Complete and review Client Needs and Risk Assessments in line with CQC guidance

  • Undertake any tasks and projects as determined by the Operations Manager

  • Liaise with Social Services and attend case conferences/ MDT meetings as required

  • Working with the Training Team and assisting with clinical training where possible

  • Inform the Branch Manager/Operations Manager/Clinical Governance Manager of  any issues that are likely to adversely impact quality of client care and /or health and safety of employees.
